DODI -DONATELLA TELLI
TOURISM TECHNICIAN degree & DIVING INSTRUCTOR
From 1982 to 1985, she obtained certifications as a SCUBA Instructor from FIPS/CMAS & PADI.
Founder and Manager of ALBATROS TOP BOAT .
After a few years working in the family business, from 1985 to 1989, she also worked with Francorosso TO as a SCUBA instructor in the Maldives and as a Tour Leader in Thailand.
Her love for the sea led her, in 1990, along with Massimo Sandrini, to organize SCUBA Cruises in the Maldives as a manager and SCUBA instructor.
From 1992 to 2009, she opened and managed Diving Centers on various islands in the Maldives and in Italy.
Since 2011, she has been the owner and manager of the Tour Operator LUXURY YACHT MALDIVES/ALBATROS TOP BOAT.
GIANLUCA BENEDETTI
OPERATIONS MANAGER
SCUBA INSTRUCTOR & BOAT LEADER
Gianluca, originally from Padova, made a significant career change after a long experience in the banking and finance world. He decided to explore new paths and turn scuba diving — a long-time passion and a part-time job he had already pursued for many years in Italy — into a full-time profession.
His first encounter with the Maldives was in 2017, which soon turned into a stay of about seven years, with only a brief interlude in the stunning Indonesian archipelago set in the Indian Ocean.
An energetic and highly athletic person, Gianluca is also a lover of reading, classic cinema, and chess.
OPERATIONS MANAGER of Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat), he awaits you on board Conte Max and Duke of York, always ready to guide you in discovering the wonders the Maldives have to offer.
DIEGO ZANTEDESCHI
SCUBA INSTRUCTOR
LIVEABOARD CRUISE DIRECTOR – BOAT LEADER
Started his career as a diving instructor in 1997. From 2000, he fulfilled his passion for the sea by working as a Dive Center Manager in various diving centers in the Maldives, the Caicos Islands, and the Red Sea.
In 2003, he returned to the place he loves most — the Maldives — where he began working with Albatros Top Boat as a Cruise Director.
Over the years, he specialized as a Hyperbaric Technician, first in the medical field and later in the shipyard industry. He obtained certifications as a Maintenance Technician for Cressi and Mares equipment.
He further expanded his diving skills by joining the Civil Protection Scuba Rescue Unit in Milan.
The call of the sea was too strong, and in 2022 he returned to work as an instructor and dive guide in the Marine Protected Area of the Portofino Promontory. He later resumed his long-standing collaboration with the Albatros Top Boat “Family” — a bond that has never truly been broken over the years.
ALI ABDUL GADIR
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
Ali’s journey with Albatros Top Boat began in November 1997, starting as a Crew member and later becoming the captain of the Dhoni. However, his passion for the sea quickly led him to pursue a professional career in diving. Prior to entering this field, he was a professional football player, and to this day, he maintains a deep love for the sport.
Even after more than 26 years, Ali Abdul Gadir continues to collaborate with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat), thoroughly enjoying his work and the interactions with clients.
He is working onboard of MY CONTE MAX & MY DUKE OF YORK.
MOHAMED RASHEED
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
In 1997, Mohamed Rasheed began his collaboration with Albatros Top Boat as a Compressor Boy. His passion for the sea immediately led him to pursue various scuba diving courses, eventually earning his first Open Water PADI certification and advancing to become an ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR.
He deeply enjoys his work and over the years has developed a technical expertise, specializing in the maintenance of scuba equipment and compressors.
In addition to his role as a scuba instructor, Mohamed is an avid fisherman. Besides guiding scuba diving groups, he also serves as a guide for fishing expeditions. He has remained a dedicated member of the with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat) working onboard of MY CONTE MAX & MY DUKE OF YORK.
BOEEE – HAFEEX
DIVE MASTER
In 2004, Boeee-Hafeex began working as a waiter on a Safari Boat for Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat). Throughout his career, he has experienced various roles, all on cruise boats, starting his journey in the world of diving until he achieved the PADI DIVE MASTER certification.
With a deep love for his work, he embarked on his career as a Dive Master in a company in the Maldives for the past 12 years. He now collaborates with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat) working onboard of MY CONTE MAX & MY DUKE OF YORK.
MUZEY – MOHAMED MUZAFAR
DIVE MASTER
Muzey is an ocean lover and Video Maker born and raised in the Maldives. His connection with the ocean began at a young age when he started surfing on his home island in the southern Maldives. He later joined the Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat) team and had the opportunity to explore the underwater world, falling in love with the many creatures of the ocean.
He is an experienced DIVE MASTER who creates beautiful VIDEOS to share his passion and extraordinary encounters. He is also involved with local NGOs and collaborates with them to produce informative videos about the numerous challenges facing coral reefs.
In the future, he hopes to experience even more incredible dives and witness the thriving of the coral reefs in the Maldives.
MANUEL DONATI
SCUBA DIVING INSTRUCTOR
MARINE BIOLOGIST
With a Master’s Degree in Marine Biology and Ecology from the University of Genoa, Manuel is a passionate ocean professional in every sense, connected to the sea since a young age.
He has been a scuba diving instructor since 2021, with experience gained in various parts of the world, including Italy, the Maldives, and Australia.
Throughout his professional and academic career, he has collaborated with several research institutions, taking part in monitoring projects on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and even earlier in the Maldives during his university years. This allowed him to merge diving with hands-on scientific research.
In his free time, Manuel is an underwater photographer and surfer—his passion follows him every day, both above and below the surface.
Manuel continues his work with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat), aboard the MY Conte Max and Duca di York, and awaits you in the Maldives, ready to guide you in discovering the wonders of the Indian Ocean, and to enthusiastically share all his knowledge about the marine world.
ALESSIO BASSETTI
DIVING INSTRUCTOR
A tireless traveler, he discovered the world of scuba diving in 2018 out of sheer curiosity… and it was love at first dive. From that moment on, an entirely new and fascinating world opened up—one he could no longer resist. So much so that he decided to turn that passion into a full-time profession.
He left his job and, in 2024, became a PADI Instructor, after spending years guiding divers through the underwater wonders of his beloved Numana. From there, he also began training new divers, including marine biology students from the University of Ancona.
Used to the often-murky waters of his home region—where every dive felt like a true treasure hunt—he developed a sharp eye and exceptional patience: he always managed to lead divers in discovering marine life with enthusiasm and expertise, making every experience fun and even meeting the demands of the most discerning underwater photographers.
In 2025, he embarked on a new adventure with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat), aboard the MY Conte Max and Duca di York, to guide you through unforgettable dives in the Maldivian archipelago.

ANDREA RUBINI
DIVING INSTRUCTOR
Andrea has been a SCUBA instructor since 1991, holding the qualifications of 2nd-degree FISPAS/CMAS instructor and Professional SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer. He is also an instructor for DDI (Disabled Divers International), DAN (Divers Alert Network), and swimming.
He holds a 3rd-level certification in SCUBA instruction from CONIBREVETTO and is a Tec Gas Blender. Andrea is certified in Coltri compressors and holds a boating license.
He has been collaborating with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat) since 2010.
MONICA FERRARIO
Monica has been a PADI INSTRUCTOR
for approximately 15 years. After starting her professional career in Sardinia, she traveled to the Red Sea, Australia, and Indonesia, gaining diverse work experiences in Diving Centers and Cruise Boats.
She eventually landed in the Maldives, where she began collaborating with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat) since 2017 as Boat Leader working onboard of MY CONTE MAX & MY DUKE OF YORK.
FRANCESCA MICCOLI
DIVING INSTRUCTOR
A native of Livorno, Francesca Miccoli has been a Recreational Instructor and Trainer since 2003. She has served as a Safari Director for Albatros Top Boat and other affiliated operators since 2013.
As a passionate explorer of the world’s seas, she has been writing about diving and the life of a diver for educational purposes, magazines, and newspapers since the beginning of her professional journey.
She is a collaborator and SCUBA INSTRUCTOR with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat).
LODOVICO RAVASI
SCUBA INSTRUCTOR
MARINE BIOLOGIST
High school diploma in science, Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental and Natural Sciences (L-32) from the University of Genoa, currently enrolled in the 2nd year of the Master’s program in Marine Biology and Ecology (LM-6) at the University of Genoa.
A lifelong lover of the sea and scuba diving, he began his professional career in 2021, first as a Divemaster in Greece and later in Liguria within the Marine Protected Area of the Portofino Promontory, where he became a PADI Instructor in 2023.
He balances his career with a passion for underwater photography, which he uses to showcase the wonders of our seas.
GIULIA CESARATO
DIVING INSTRUCTOR
Giulia holds a Scientific High School Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences (class L-13) from the University of Milan. She is currently enrolled in the first year of Marine Biology at the University of Genoa. She is a REC INSTRUCTOR TSA, SCUBA INSTRUCTOR PSS, and Night Diving Instructor PSS.
She collaborates as an instructor with Luxury Yacht Maldives (Albatros Top Boat) working onboard of MY CONTE MAX & MY DUKE OF YORK.
