In 1990, Dodi Telli and Massimo Sandrini set out to share their passion for scuba diving through holidays that combined underwater exploration with comfort, safety and Italian hospitality.
That vision still guides Luxury Yacht Maldives today. We bring the same care and attention to detail to every trip, helping our guests discover some of the world’s most beautiful diving destinations.

OUR EXPERIENCE
Our story began with Albatros Top Boat, an Italian tour operator specialising in liveaboard cruises in the Maldives. Building on its success in Italy, our founders welcomed international guests under the name Luxury Yacht Maldives.
As the business grew, we introduced new destinations, including Sudan and the Philippines, alongside resort and guesthouse stays, tailor-made cruises, private charters and fishing trips. Our passion for the sea also led us to support marine conservation in the Maldives, working with scientific institutions in Genoa, Italy, and international organisations such as Manta Trust.
Since 1990, experience, commitment and attention to detail have shaped the way we work. Over the years, thousands of guests have travelled with us, and many choose to return. Around 60% of our guests each year have travelled with us before.
