With profound sorrow and deep emotion, tour operator Albatros Top Boat wishes to express its sincerest condolences and utmost sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to all those affected by this tragic event.

The company is fully cooperating with the Maldivian authorities and the competent Italian diplomatic representatives involved in the ongoing investigation, making every useful resource available in order to clarify the causes and circumstances of the events that occurred on 14 May 2026.

In light of the above, no further statements will be released until the ongoing operations and investigations have been completed, out of respect for the families involved and for the work of the authorities.
